I think this is a great move on the Jazz part.

The way Gordan Giricek was playing and not playing basically made him useless for the Jazz. A local sports radio personality said it best. “The jazz got rid of Gordan and actually got a better deal in exchange.” I’m sure if you asked many Jazz fans they’d have said just buying out his contract would have been an improvement.

The Jazz sure could use Korver ASAP too. They are 3-7 in their last 10 games.
