McIntosh Holiday Update 2009
by Jim McIntosh on Dec.30, 2008, under Family
This was our first Christmas and holiday season in Indianapolis. If this was 1997 I’d embed a recording of Jim Nabors singing Back Home In Indiana, but I spare you of that. Instead you can follow the link I put around the title of the song.
We’ve been so fortunate with the move and really enjoy living her now. This December we have;
- Attended our first ExactTarget Holiday party (jim’s new job)
- Figured out a new place to put the Christmas tree (all Kell)
- Devised a new exterior lighting scheme (all me)
- Hosted our first Christmas Eve Party for both McIntosh’s and Tschohl’s, and
- Visited Santa at the mall!
All in all it was a very busy December for the McIntosh’s. We love our new home, being near family but we miss many of our friends in Utah. Happy Holidy’s and best wishes in 2009.
There should be some Christmas pictures in the photos section of my site soon.
McIntosh Holiday Update

I’ve been so busy with work and rebuilding my blog that I haven’t taken time to do a good family update in a while.
We had a nice Christmas and holiday season. For the most part we just stayed home and took it easy. We did had a fun Holiday party earlier in December and Kelly’s parents came to visit us before Christmas for a few days. As of the last couple years the McIntosh’s have a new rule about not trying to travel during the holidays with the two little girls. Additionally, since I work in online retail, it’s my busiest time at work.
The girls did a great job in their schools holiday pageant. Mia had been practicing her routine at home over and over in the weeks leading up to the show and we didn’t see anything out of Ellie. However Mia got a little stage fright in front of the 300 plus parents and family members and didn’t quite pull off all the moves. She tried her best though. But, Ellie stole the show. She did such a good job that all the parents around us were commenting on how cute she was and how well she stayed upfront and focused on the dance routine. (continue reading…)
