Birthday Card from my Mom

In the new age of social media, with hundreds of “friends and followers” watching your every move it can be a little creepy. That is until they wish you Happy Birthday. I’ve received more than 35 comments on FB today from people I haven’t talked to in some time. It made today a little nicer.

The best was coming home to the kids who ran into the garage as I got home and getting a funny card from my Mom that is now on display in my man cave.

This evening we celebrated Mia’s fourth birthday at home with the family. I know it sounds cliche but I can’t believe she is four. I couldn’t be more proud of my little girl.

After dinner we promised her that we would do cupcakes and open presents. She was much more excited for presents and cupcakes this year. I think she was jealous of Ellie’s cupcakes and party last January.

Immediately after our quite little party for Mia, Ellie promptly told us that her birthday would be next. :-)
